Associate Human Rights Officer

The Office Of The High Commissioner for Human Rights is offering a position as Associate Human Rights Officer situated in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Among the duties of this position is to support the planning and coordination of activities related to thematic and country mandates on human rights, including from a gender perspective. Additionally the successful candidate will conduct substantive research and analysis of human rights issues/events, in particular minority rights, and assesses their impact on the human rights situation in assigned region or country. Also the successful candidate will collect and analyse human rights data and indicators in country/region of assignment, including gender-specific data and indicators. Eligible candidates must hold an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, political science, international relations, social sciences or related area. A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in human rights, political affairs, international relations, law or related field are required to apply for this position. Sustainable Development Adviser NO-B

The ICRC – International Committee of the Red Cross is hiring a qualified Sustainable Development Adviser NO-B located in Geneva, Switzerland. He/She will coordinate the working groups that contribute to the implementation of the 2017-2022 Sustainable Development Strategy by identifying sustainable development issues, proposing approaches and when relevant, designing strategies and assisting in their implementation. Associate Human Rights Officer
