The Women’s Protection and Empowerment/Gender Based Violence (WPE/GBV) Prevention Officer
The International Rescue Committee is hiring a Women’s Protection and Empowerment/Gender Based Violence (WPE/GBV) Prevention Officer in Polykastro, Greece. The main responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage all aspects of the WPE/GBV risk reduction and prevention programs. The duties of this position will include identifying current and potential risks to women, advocating solutions for those risks, grant monitoring, and coordinating with stakeholders. The desired candidate is required to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Public Health, Human Rights, or any related field. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word. Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in Arabic or Farsi would be an asset. Child Protection Officer MRM, NOB – FT
The UN Children’s Fund is hiring a Child Protection Officer in Jordan. The main responsibility of this position is to provide technical and administrative assistance throughout the programming process on multiple Child Protection focused regional projects. The duties of this position include supporting program development, information management, providing technical support, and improving capacity and partnership building. The desired candidate is required to have a University level degree in Computer Science, Human Rights, Information Management, International Law, or any related field. Microsoft certifications are highly preferred. The candidate must have at least two years’ experience in database design or administration, data analysis or data management with a focus on Human Rights, Protection, Child protection, or any of the UN agency related fields. The desired candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of another UN language is preferred, but not a necessity. The duration of this position is unspecified. Child Protection Program Officer
Syria Bright Future is looking to hire a Child Protection Program Officer in Gaziantep, Turkey. The main responsibility of this position is to supervise programs that are focused on displaced Syrian children. The duties of this position include supervising and assessing the status of Child Protection programs within the region, managing and coordinating programs, providing technical support, promoting child protection policies, capacity building, and supporting local partners. The desired candidate is required to have a university level degree in Human Rights, Child Protection, or any relevant fields. The candidate is required to have at least two years’ experience in humanitarian work and experience in Child Protection. The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English.
