Child Protection Advisor

Save the Children is hiring a qualified Child Protection Advisor located in Hatay, Turkey. Among the duties of this position is to provide quality technical leadership and advice for the design, implementation and monitoring of Child Protection related activities in the context of Turkey and Syria response programme. Additionally the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance to field-based teams and ensuring that high-quality activities integrated into all programming. Also the successful candidate will be a lead on developing proposals and securing funding for CP programming. She/He will have a Master or Bachelor degree in Social Work, Human Rights or relevant field. Extensive experience, progressively responsible, working in child protection programming, preferably in the Middle East are required to apply for this position. Research Fellow (Child Protection)

Save the Children is currently hiring a qualified Research Fellow (Child Protection) based in Nairobi, Kenya. He/She will be the senior lead in generating evidence for child protection and child rights governance programmes of the Country Office. Additionally the successful candidate will identify research opportunities and conduct research to measure effectiveness of child protection programmes and provide knowledge supports in improving effectiveness. Also the successful candidate will extract learning from wider research and practitioner communities to increase innovativeness and inform policy especially within the humanitarian and development sectors to deepen the impact of our work on children’s lives. She/He will have a demonstrated ability to conduct high quality research on child protection and experience of publications (including peer reviewed journals). He/She will craft and implement media strategies to increase Children’s Rights’ press coverage and make the organization’s mission known to the widest possible audience.
