Technical Officer (Alliance for Health Policy & Systems Research Secretariat)

Technical Officer (Health Systems and innovation)

Technical Officer (Incidents)

World Health Organization (WHO) is hiring a qualified Technical Officer (Incidents) located in Geneva, Switzerland. He/She will support the Incident Manager and the IMS team in the development and implementation of the incident’s work plans and manage the day-to-day operations to ensure effective execution of the emergency activities. Additionally the successful candidate will facilitate the monitoring of the technical and operational work plans across the three levels of the organization. Track the multiple deliverables ensuring that activities are executed according to indicators. Also the successful candidate will identify gaps, recommend corrective actions and innovative solutions to support the incident operations, in line with the IMS standard operating procedures (SOPs). She/He will have a first university degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, International Relations or health related field from a recognized/accredited institute.
