Regional Content Manager

Currently they are recruiting for the role of a regional content manager who is to deliver compelling messages and stories to specific audiences through various channels. The Regional content manager will also produce contents and develop innovative ideas, that will help to achieve challenging campaign and excellent communication goals, making sure all communications embody Amnesty International’s brand. Eligible candidates must be an accomplished storyteller, they must be highly skilled and experienced in creative writing and must possess strong communication skills to successfully engage new people. They must have an in-depth knowledge editing and publishing software. The position entails 35 hours of work and it is salaried at 43 200 euros, location is London. Research and Message Consultant
The US Human Right Network [USHRN] seeks the service of a Research and Message Consultant to support its human rights campaigning. The Duties of the post will include; working with USHRN members to identify and frame bold human rights demands that further member campaigns, engaging in research to support feasibility of demand and also develop popular frames, for human rights demands. They will work with artists utilizing graphics, music and storytelling to advance human rights. The Job will also require applicants to publish messages in blogs, social media, opinion pieces and factsheets. Requirements for candidates will include at least 5 years’ experience working with grassroots campaigns to develop communication strategies and messaging, candidates must also possess a proven ability to develop strong messages for grassroots campaigns. They must possess excellent writing and communication skills, with a demonstrated familiarity and commitment to human rights. Application will be accepted till 1st of April 2016.
Health and Human Rights Intern
Human Rights Watch is an international human rights monitoring and advocacy organization known for its in-depth investigations. The organization seeks the service of a qualified current law student or graduate whose primary duty as a Health and Human Rights Intern is to conduct legal research on a range of issue related to environmental health, climate change and human rights. They will also engage in other research and advocacy efforts as the opportunity arises. The right candidate must be fluent in English, have good writing skills and must be a good team player; knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft office and internet application is also required. Temporary Research Assistance
This is a temporary hourly position based in PHR’s New York headquarters that will begin in late March 2016, and end in late June 2016. The work schedule is flexible and weekly hours may fluctuate depending on programmatic needs, but will not exceed 75 hours per month. The Temporary Research Assistant is responsible for conducting Arabic language open source research on attack on health care in Syria, assisting in organization of research and maintaining database that contains sensitive human rights data. They will also assist with other research and programmatic support as needed. Collaborate closely with investigations staff in analyzing trends in data. The right candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year’s experience in a professional setting, must be fluent in written and spoken Arabic.
