Regional Researcher – Southern Africa

Amnesty International is hiring a qualified Regional Researcher – Southern Africa located in Johannesburg. He/She will lead on the development and implementation of research strategies to deliver human rights impact in relation to agreed human rights thematic priorities, providing research expertise, research management, political judgment and analytical, communication and representational skills. Additionally the successful candidate will work in close collaboration with a designated campaigners as well as the Research, Campaigns and Communication Assistant, Media Manager, Regional Content Manager and other key team members who constitute the core team in the SARO office. Also the successful candidate will have a proven experience of undertaking investigative research on human rights or related issues as well as excellent writing skills. Specialist knowledge and preferably first-hand experience of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Namibia or key human rights themes as captured in this profile and an in-depth understanding of the nature of key human rights concerns, as well as political, social, legal, economic, cultural, ethnic, racial and gender issues in them are required to apply for this position. Investigator

The Global Fund is hiring a qualified Investigator situated in Geneva, Switzerland.. The successful candidate will conduct high quality investigations of complex financial fraud and abuse (including corruption, coercion, collusion, misappropriation and misuse) involving GF grant funds. The tasks of this position additionally include to identify fraud and abuse, including complex financial schemes and conduct investigations in accordance with generally recognized international investigation standards. She/He will have an advanced university degree in a related field, including law or accounting (e.g., CPA); or a first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience in a related area. A minimum of five years’ experience as an investigator working on complex criminal and/or administrative investigations in the area of financial fraud, corruption, collusion, mismanagement and misuse of funds are required to apply for this position. Program Officer

The Open Society Foundations is hiring a qualified Program Officer located in Barcelona. He/She will operate with considerable autonomy and have responsibility for all grant-making activities relating to The Open Society Initiative for Europe’s anti-discrimination work across Europe, with a focus on marginalized voices from Muslim, Roma, and Black European communities and intersectional discrimination within these minorities. Additionally the successful candidate will work within the broader program strategy and budget design, makes and assesses grants, and makes use of other appropriate tools for advancing goals. Also the successful candidate will develope collaborative relations inside and outside Open Society Foundations (e.g., with existing grantees, prospective grantees, experts, media, etc.). Senior Leadership Giving Officer Training Officer

Urgent Action Fund is hiring a qualified Senior Leadership Giving Officer Training Officer located in New York. He/She will develop and implement cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for a portfolio of current and prospective major donors and family foundations.
