Immigrant Children’s Legal Program intern
The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is hiring a paid Immigrant Children’s Legal Program Intern in Crystal City, Arlington, VA. The main responsibility of this position is to assist the Immigrant Children Legal Program with a wide variety and tasks that are focused on bettering the cases of immigrant children. This includes conducting interviews, writing memos and referrals, matching children with attorneys, supporting children and sponsors through the legal immigration process, and other project related tasks. The desired candidate must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish with a working experience with immigrants, low-income communities, children, and other related fields. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, as well as compensation per month and up to a maximum of $20 per day of travel expenses. The internship requires at least 20 hours per week. The duration of this internship position is 10 weeks and the start date is June 6, 2016. Trafficking Intern

The main responsibility of this position is to provide administrative tasks for The Trafficking Victim Assistance Program. Such tasks include researching subjects on the internet, conducting provider surveys, and conducting telephone consultations with clients and service providers. The desired candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in undergraduate school. The desired candidate is required to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Experience in working with immigrants, human trafficking, human rights, victims of crime, or any relevant field, is preferred. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, as well as compensation per month and up to a maximum of $20 per day of travel expenses. The internship requires at least 20 hours per week, but interns may not work more than 8 hours a day. The duration of this internship position is 10 weeks. Government and Community Relations Intern
