Associate Human Rights Officer

The Office Of The High Commissioner For Human Rights (OHCHR) is accepting applications for the position as Associate Human Rights Officer situated in Geneva, Switzerland. He/She participates in identifying and specifying the needs of governments for advisory services and technical cooperation as well as in the preparation and implementation of respective country projects. Additionally the successful candidate participates in the systematic collection and analysis of information regarding the human rights situation in one or several countries of a given region and in the preparation of reports, documents and other written materials thereon. Also the successful candidate participates in the processing of individual cases of alleged violations under thematic mechanisms, including under the urgent action procedure. She/He will have an advanced university degree, preferably in law, political science, international relations or other disciplines related to human rights. At least two years of professional experience at national and/or international levels in the field of human rights are required to apply for this position. JPO – UN Coordination and Partnership Officer

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is hiring a qualified JPO – UN Coordination and Partnership Officer located in Maputo, Mozambique. He/She will contribute to partnership development to advance UNs normative and programmatic objectives with a special focus on the roll out and implementation of the new 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda in Mozambique. Additionally the successful candidate will advise and support coordination of Resource Mobilisation to implement the SDGs in Mozambique. Also the successful candidate will provide inputs and support to common SDG FOCUSED communication and advocacy. She/He will have a Master’s Degree or equivalent, or higher Advanced Degree, in international development, communications, economics and or related field of expertise. Project Manager (CFP)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is offering a position as Project Manager (CFP) based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Among the duties of this position is to provide overall management of the CFP, including the management of the project team. Additionally the successful candidate will ensure smooth functioning of the CFP and linkages with the Community Engagement Working Group, HCT, The International Development Partner Group (IDPG), donors, and local and national civil society coordination fora. She/He will have a Masters’ degree in public policy, international relations, disaster risk reduction, political science or related area is required.
