Revolutionary Ideas: Utility, Justice, Equality, Freedom is a free course being offered by Alexander Guerrero, Assistant Professor in the Philosophy, Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, a renowned Ivy League university in the United States.
During the course, students will be encouraged to think about why governments exist and what type of model a just government should follow to ensure the rights of citizens are protected. The objective of the class is to engage in critical thinking about many different forms of governance rather than to convince students that any one form is best.
This online course requires students to watch 20 hours of video and read assigned literature. Quizzes and writing assignments are included as a part of the 5-week course.
