Project Development Officer

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is hiring a qualified Project Development Officer located in Dakar, Senegal. He/She will understand and communicate donor priorities and funding opportunities in Senegal and propose the development of new projects that correspondto IOM’s institutional and country-specific expertise. Additionally the successful candidate will take the initiative to design and develop new projects, in close coordination with HoO, donors, beneficiaries and partner organizations. Also the successful candidate will develop and regularly update and share tools that allow the mission to keep track and speed up project development, endorsement, project code issuance and timely start of projects. She/He will have a Master’s Degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. 2 to 4 years work experience either on project development, project management, project monitoring and evaluation relevant to migration issues are required to apply for this position. Project Officer (Counter Trafficking)

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is offering a position as Project Officer (Counter Trafficking) based in Bamako, Mali. Among the duties of this position is to support the overall implementation of the mission’s counter-trafficking, anti-smuggling and psycho-social activities. The successful candidate will also coordinate daily project activities and participate actively in training development and delivery. Furthermore among the duties of this position is to promote dialogue, information-sharing and cooperation among Government and non-governmental actors on IOM’s priority areas for cooperation. Eligible candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Law, Human Rights, International Affairs, Migration Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. Reporting Officer

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is offering a position as Reporting Officer located in Erbil, Iraq. Among the duties of this position is to maintain thorough understanding of IOM Iraq Mission’s programmes, projects and activities, general and specific reporting requirements, and the relevant information management and reporting mechanisms (e.g. beneficiaries’and activities database). Additionally the successful candidate will create and update activities reporting tools and projects tracking matrices in the database based on the specific outputs, targets and deadlines embedded in the project documents (work plan, result matrix, budget etc.) in collaboration with the PDSU colleagues, project managers and implementation teams. Furthermore among the duties of this position is to design and regularly update data base report forms in line with the reporting requirements, ensure that the forms are uploaded and activated in the database to enable data encoding process. Eligible candidates must hold a Master’s degree in International Relations, International Development or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. Experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or governmental institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is required to apply for this position.
