Website Assistant (OSCE)
The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights has a vacancy for a part time Website Assistant in Warsaw. The main duty of this role is to provide technical assistance to the supervisor and the unit’s staff while assisting in the management and maintenance of the online legislative database. The Assistant will be expected to collect legal data and upload it to the database, provide technical assistance for the database, contribute to awareness and knowledge building, seek to network with many institutions to share knowledge about ODIHR and OSCE operations, and to maintain the website through various tasks. A completed secondary degree in Human Rights, International Law, or any relevant field is required to be considered, as well as at least four years’ of proven experience in relevant work. Additionally the candidate must be able to work with various web development based computer programs. Working knowledge of English is required. Project Manager (Business & Human Rights Resource Centre)
The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is hiring a full-time Project Manager in London, England. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire implementation process of Protection of Civic Space and Human Rights Defenders programs. The Project Manager will be expected to develop a database to record instances of Human Rights Defenders attacks, write short blog posts to highlight new highlights and outcomes, as well as a bulletin that outlines current issues and a weekly newsletter that contains current news, establish partnerships and maintain an effective communication network with all partners, and several technical related tasks. A minimum of three years’ work experience is required. The candidate must have excellent knowledge of English. The duration of this position is one year. The main responsibility of this position is to use expertise to improve the implementation of Human Rights standards in selected states. The candidate must have proficient knowledge in international standards and the domestic systems in locations where programs will be introduced. An advanced degree in Political Science, Law, or any Human Rights related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the field of Human Rights or Law, as well as at least 3 years of professional experience in the delivery of a specific Human Rights related service.
