Trial International is an NGO fighting impunity for international crimes and supporting victims in their quest for justice. We are looking for a fast-learning and driven digital intern to join our External Relations department in Geneva.

The Digital Intern will play an active role in the development of Trial International’s digital strategy. This will include, managing Trial International’s Twitter and Facebook channels and making suggestions to expand the organisation’s online community. The Digital Intern will also manage and optimise website content and follow up on maintenance and technical improvements. S/he will edit photos and produce visuals for digital formats and manage and improve the multimedia library. In addition, the Digital Intern will be involved in putting together and sending Trial International’s monthly newsletter and managing the relevant databases.

For this role the applicant must be a native French speaker with an excellent command of English (C1). S/he will have a degree in communications, computer science or other relevant background and be familiar with digital communication and fundraising tools as well as having demonstrated experience in community management and running a CMS. A demonstrated interest in human rights is an asset. Knowledge of optimisation tools is also an asset, as is proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).

The duration of the internship is six months and the intern will be expected to work between 32 and 40 hours per week. Trial International will provide a stipend for the internship. The successful candidate will start on 4th February 2019 and must be legally entitled to work in Geneva.
