ReThink Media, a nonprofit organization committed to furthering US and international foreign policies that promote human rights, is currently accepting applications for their Internship and Fellowship Program. Interns and fellows use research tools to monitor online news stories and launch rapid response media campaigns in response to current events. In addition, interns and fellows help develop multimedia content and written content for the organization’s social media accounts and website. Positions are part-time and based in either the organization’s offices in Washington, D.C., or Berkeley, California.
To qualify for the ReThink Media Internship and Fellowship Program, applicants must be either currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program or have recently graduated from one. Undergrads are hired as interns, while graduate students are hired as fellows and paid a slightly higher rate. Knowledge of social media management, marketing, and content creation software programs is required for consideration. Applicants must also be fluent in English to be eligible for a position.
