Project Officer (Counter-Trafficking, P2)

IOM – International Organization for Migration is hiring a qualified Project Officer (Counter-Trafficking, P2) located in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh. He/She will coordinate and ensure the successful implementation of existing CT in crisis projects, including timely delivery, quality control, and financial oversight. Additionally the successful candidate will contribute to the development of new CT in crisis projects and/or expand existing projects to address identified needs and gaps. Contribute CT in crisis components to broader protection or humanitarian projects as needed, in line with the relevant organizational policies and guidelines. Also the successful candidate will monitor and provide technical guidance to implementing partners delivering CT services on behalf of IOM.

She/He will have a Master’s degree in International Law, Development Studies, Political Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. Experience in managing teams, mentoring and delivering trainings and experience in project management and monitoring and evaluation are required to apply for this position. Junior Researcher(s)

UNDP – United Nations Development Programme is open for applications for two posts as Junior Researcher(s) based in Tirana, Albania. The successful candidates will carry out field interviews for a satisfaction survey, which will serve the purpose of collecting gender-disaggregated data on the quality and quantity of social services tailored for and targeting vulnerable groups (focusing on Roma and Egyptian people and on persons with disabilities). Additionally the successful candidates will support the lead researcher to come up with a high-quality, well-written draft by analysing the processed data as well as identify important issues, trace trends whenever they are reported by respondents, and provide conclusions and recommendations that would help the LNB project and the beneficiaries including the service providers, CSOs, DPOs and other development partners to design and/or tailor their short or mid-term interventions benefiting vulnerable groups in Albania. Also the successful candidates will will have a University degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics or a Development related discipline; graduate (master’s) degree is an asset but not mandatory. At least 3 years of proven involvement with social surveys in Albania (list of participation in field research for the last 3 years) are required to apply for this position. Human Rights Officer, P3

Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is currently hiring a qualified Human Rights Officer (P3) situated in Geneva, Switzerland. He/She assists countries in promoting respect for human rights, and Governments in identifying and specifying their needs for advisory services and technical cooperation, including by ensuring the preparation and conduct of assessment missions. Additionally the successful candidate participates in negotiations aimed at concluding technical cooperation agreements, prepares respective country projects and acts as the project manager. Also the successful candidate liaises with UN country teams, supports the mainstreaming of human rights in the UN CCA/UNDAF and prepares Country Status notes for the countries under his/her responsibility. She/He will have an advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in law, political science, international relations, or a related field. A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in human rights, international relations, law or related area are required to apply for this position. UN Women: Programme Management Support Specialist
