UNITAR’s E-Workshop Series

As novel global challenges destabilize and deeply affect the world as we know it, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) strives to continue its mission uninterrupted in providing quality adult education by launching an e-workshop series.

This highly innovative series is aimed at reinforcing transferable professional skills, in a peculiar global context where flexibility and adaptability are key. These e-workshops will also provide a valuable platform for individuals all over the world to engage in constructive and inspiring discussions and exchanges of ideas, while also representing an important opportunity for people to socialise and create a network with like-minded individuals experiencing similar constraints. Still wondering what an e-workshop is? Check out our video.

This programme is comprised of highly interactive e-trainings characterised by a similar format to that of face-to-face workshops, thus guaranteeing a similar level of participant engagement. The e-workshops will be facilitated by experts on selected topics and will be delivered through the platform Zoom. Each e-workshop will take place over the course of several afternoons (13:00-17:00 CET) and the length of the e-workshops varies between approximately 8 and 12 training hours in total. Upon completion, participants will also receive a UNITAR Certificate of Participation.

This series tackles a variety of topics related (but not strictly limited) to the fields of international relations and diplomacy: from leadership to gender equality, from negotiation to digitalisation.

A limited amount of fellowships are available for diplomats from LDC/SIDS upon selection, please contact hanna.centerskog@unitar.org if you meet these requirements

UNITAR also provides discounts for organizations and individuals signing up to more than one e-workshop. To find more about UNITAR’s discounts, please visit this link.
