Applications are now open for the Master’s Programme in Public International Law (LL.M.), jointly offered by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and Sigmund Freud University Vienna (SFU). This one-year graduate programme is delivered on campus in Vienna, Austria, or online, combining SFU’s academic expertise with UNITAR’s practical approach and direct exposure to the United Nations system.

The programme aims to deepen participants’ knowledge of public international law while strengthening legal reasoning, diplomatic, and negotiation skills in international contexts. Through practice-oriented modules and expert-led sessions, students will explore core areas of international law, global diplomacy, and legal communication.

Participants will also benefit from a dedicated UN Immersion Week at the Vienna International Centre (VIC), offering first-hand insights into the UN work environment, networking opportunities with practitioners, and tailored career development sessions.
