Fully funded MA degree Scholarship for Social Change (Civil Society Leadership Awards)

The Civil Society Leadership Awards, often abbreviated to CSLA, is an award that gives full-ride scholarships for those interested in getting a master’s degree. This scholarship is designed to target those individuals with a passion for social change in their own communities who have demonstrated clearly both their professional and academic capability in such a field.

Scholarships are awarded in the following fields of study: Economics, Culture, History and Society, Politics and International Studies, Communications, Gender Studies, Journalism and Media, Human Rights, Social Work & Social Policy, Law, Development Studies, Public Health Policy and Health Management, Public Policy and Administration, Education Management and Leadership and finally Environment and Natural Resource Management.

In order to apply for this Civil Society Leadership Awards, applicants must first be a citizen of one of the countries that are eligible. They must be mature, flexible and demonstrate leadership potential. A bachelor’s degree obtained before July 15, 2017, and an outstanding academic record must also be shown.

Applicants need to have some professional experience in an area relevant to their field of study and must be able to clearly understand English, French or German. Applicants must also be able to go to a pre-academic summer school in the summer of 2018. Then, they must be ready to begin their degree program by September 2018. Hopefuls must also be able to get their own visa or a study permit on their own as required by the country that will be hosting them. The application for this scholarship is online or on paper.
