Program Officer (Open Society Foundations)

The Open Society Foundations’ Women’s Rights Program is hiring for the position of a full-time Program Officer who will play a pivotal role in strengthening women’s rights organizations and movements. The position will be based in the New York office. The program officer will be responsible for carrying out all stages of relevant grant making, managing relationships with other entities including potential and current grantees and other civil society and social change organizations, participating in collaborative decision making both within OSF and with external entities, and monitoring the women’s rights field. An ideal candidate for the position should be an experienced professional with substantial knowledge, expertise and programmatic experience in women’s rights, social movements and change.

Associated Fundamental Rights Officer (FRONTEX)

The European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (Frontex) is hiring for the position of “Associated Fundamental Rights Officer.” Frontex is located in Warsaw, Poland. The Associated Fundamental Rights Officer (FRO) is an independent role within Frontex and is expected to work from a fundamental/human rights perspective. The FRO has the mandate to identify and propose both preventive and corrective measures and making observations on the identified needs and challenges in all the activities of Frontex. Legal & Programmes Assistant (Equal Rights Trust)

The Equal Rights Trust is looking for Legal and Programmes Assistant to coordinate some of its international projects and to support its research, litigation and legal services work. The incumbent shall coordinate the delivery of a number of the Trust’s international projects and conduct research and draft legal submissions and reports. The applicant should have experience in managing a varied workload and the ability to research and draft on human rights and/or equality, along with excellent inter-personal skills and initiative. The position is offered on an initial one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension.
