The Open Society Foundation is currently accepting applications for their Open Society Fellowship. Individuals who receive the fellowship get funding to pursue projects related to human rights, such as a book, an academic article, an art project, a film or a series of convenings. To be considered for a fellowship, applicants must have a clear focus and purpose for the funding and present a proposal for a project that is in line with the goals of the Open Society Foundation. Projects in English are preferred, but in some cases, fellowships may be granted for projects in other languages. Those interested in the fellowship program should submit a letter of inquiry to the Open Society Foundation using an online form. The deadline for letters is March 1, 2017, and responses will be issued by March 24, 2017.
