The Academy of European Law (AEL) in Florence, Italy, offers advanced-level summer courses in Human Rights Law and the Law of the European Union as well as managing research projects and running a publications programme. They offer two summer courses each year and this year they are running the Human Rights Law programme and The Law of the European Union programme both in July. The programmes are held at European University Institute on the Villa Salviati campus and applications will open in January. You can find information on how to apply on the website as well as more information about the course and fees. The course fees cover tuition, reading material, lunches and coffee breaks at the university and social activities arranged during the course but you will need to cover your own accommodation and travel costs. These intensive courses run from 9am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday and both courses run for 11 days. There is also the option of a diploma examination if you would like to receive a qualification at the end of the programme.
