Project Manager/Team Leader

ICMPD – International Centre for Migration Policy Development is hiring a qualified Project Manager/Team Leader located in Abuja, Nigeria. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the work of the team; track and assess team member’s individual inputs and tasks. Additionally the successful candidate will manage delivery of day-to-day project activities independently, including effective delegation of tasks within the Team as required. Furthermore among the duties of this position is to manage all financial aspects of the project in close coordination with the operations support unit ensuring that the project is implemented according to the budget. Eligible candidates must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in political or social sciences, international relations, legal studies or related field. A minimum of 5 years relevant international experience in the management of complex projects and programmes is needed to qualify for this vacancy. Employment and Migration Officer

The International Labour Organization is currently hiring a qualified Employment and Migration Officer situated in Abuja, Nigeria. The main duties of this vacancy include to participate in the formulation and promotion of employment and labour migration programmes. The successful candidate will also support the design, supervise and conduct policy-oriented research on macro-economic and sectoral trends impacting on employment and migration at national levels. Furthermore among the duties of this position is to contribute to the provision of policy advice to the ECOWAS Commission and member States on labour migration, labour mobility and the labour market dimensions of people’s movements. Required to apply is an advanced university degree in economics, business or public administration or social sciences.
