Project Communication Officer (28 March 2016)

The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) is now hiring in the Warsaw office in Poland. This role will require the candidate to oversee communication issues during project implementation and work to increase the visibility of the organization. The role also includes producing relevant background documents and information to distribute at events and prepare any project activities’ documents including organization meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences. The ideal applicant will have a university degree in a subject related to communications as well as six years experience in the field of project management. The candidate must have excellent oral and written skills in English. Knowledge of the language spoken in the project’s geographical area would be desirable. The average monthly salary for this role will be approximately EUR 4,800.

Project Manager (28 March 2016)

A new position has opened up with the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in Warsaw, Poland. This role will require the candidate to head the projects for the organization in a number of ways, such as preparing detailed plans for activities, supervising teams to implement the project and overseeing the budget and working to network in the community. The necessary qualifications for this role are an advanced university degree in a subject related to the topic of the project (i.e. international relations or social sciences), at least eight years experience operating projects and an understanding of the political sensitivities and administrative constraints in the work of the department. The job will pay approximately EUR 5,800 a month.

Independent Coordinator (18 March 2016)

The European Public Health Alliance is now hiring in their Brussels office. This role will support campaigns, organize and facilitate meetings and events, work to build relationships and engage in collaborations with other potential allies from other social justice movements, as well as participate in the activities and policy strategy discussions. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record for campaign management as well as experience managing budgets and fundraising. The candidate will need to be fluent in English, but fluency in another EU language is advantageous. There may be some travel included in the vacancy.

Mekong Legal Director (8 April 2016)

Earth Rights International is hiring a Mekong Legal Director in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The duties in this role include developing, monitoring and implementing legal advocacy activities and new program initiatives in the Mekong region countries regarding issues such as hydropower and dams, as well as coal plants. This candidate will also oversee the work of program staff and assist with the organizational communication, as well as develop partnerships with public interest lawyers in Mekong. The right applicant will have management experience in a legal setting, familiarity with the issues that will arise in the Mekong region as well as the region itself, experience working with indigenous and threatened populations. An ability to communicate in any of the Mekong languages will be a plus.
