Consultant for Video Journalistic Services
UNICEF is hiring a Consultant for Video Journalistic Services in Belgrade, Serbia. The main responsibility of this role is to assist in covering UNICEF Serbia Office programs, as well as the impact it has on children in the community through various multimedia journalism services. The specific duties of the Consultant include shooting footage, conducting interviews, writing interview transcripts, editing video materials, writing news notes, and other tasks that may be required by the offices. A background in journalism and/or another media experience is desirable, but the candidate must be technically competent and have experience in developing multimedia source content. Excellent fluency in both English and Serbian is a requirement. The Candidate must be willing to travel to various locations in Serbia. The estimated duration of this job is 11.5 months. Digital Communication Associate
The United Nations University is offering a vacancy for a Digital Communication Associate in Bonn, Germany. The Digital Communication Associate will report to the Vice Rector in maintaining all digital content for the United Nations University’s digital communication programs. The candidate will be expected to act as a webmaster to maintain and manage the website, draft and edit content, optimize the content through Google Analytics, develop and implement all social media campaigns, monitor the success of the social media campaigns, and distribute many different forms of communication content. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in communications, digital media, public relations, or any media relevant field is required to be considered for this position, as well as at least 2 years of working experience in a similar role and proven experience in website management. The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in German or a UN language would be an advantage. The Candidate must be able to travel internationally without much notice. Communication Intern
The UN Office on Drugs and Crime has a vacancy for a Communication Intern in Cario, Egypt. The intern will gain first-hand and professional experience in the fields of advocacy, communication, and digital media. The specific tasks of the Communication Intern are monitoring all online media, assisting with the organization of meetings, assisting with content creation for the website, supporting the preparation and distribution of news materials, assisting in media inequities, and many tasks that may be required of the candidate. The applicant must be enrolled in a post-graduate level course in communications, journalism, or any relevant field. Candidates that have already graduated college a maximum of one year before submitting the application will be considered. The desired candidate will be able to be efficient in a multi-cultural environment with a general knowledge of IT technologies and experience in translation or writing for websites. Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required. Proficiency in French would be desirable, but not required. Applicants must have health insurance that is covered in Egypt.

Communications Intern
UNHCR’s Energy and Environment unit has a vacancy for a Communications Intern in Geneva, Switzerland. This intern will help the unit in the design and implementation process of many communication strategies. The specific duties of the intern include assisting in the organization of meetings and workshops, managing the unit’s social media platforms, assist in the development of communications content, supporting all communications and outreach programs, and providing assistance on a variety of tasks for the Energy and Environment unit. The candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program, or have recently graduated from one, in the field of environmental sciences, journalism, communications, or any other relevant field. Desired candidates will have a proven experience in communications and marketing related tools, as well as have a general understanding of computer programs with the capacity to learn more. Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of another UN language would be an advantage for the application. This role will last 6 months and will start in June of 2016. Communications and Online Media Intern
The Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CCC) has a vacancy for an internship in The Hague, Netherlands. This internship has a focus on communications and online media, and the candidate will be expected to provide support throughout updating and creating content for the website, press releases, and other social tools; monitoring and reporting relevant news cases in issues that relate to the CCC; providing assistance throughout the drafting and editing of publications; assisting throughout all content development for the new website, as well as keeping the website up to date; developing innovative ideas for a successful social media campaign; updating the database and research outlets; shooting videos or recording meetings, press releases, and lectures; as well as supporting the staff in various required tasks.  Applicants are required to be studying a field such as communications, multimedia, journalism, web design, political science, or any relevant field.
