Entry Level Job: IOM recruits Protection Officer (Counter Trafficking, P-2)

IOM – International Organization for Migration is hiring a qualified Protection Officer (Counter Trafficking) located in Yangon, Myanmar. He/She will coordinate and facilitate the successful implementation of existing counter-trafficking projects and activities, including timely delivery, quality control, and financial oversight. Additionally the successful candidate will supervise and guide the national staff involved in the implementation of the counter-trafficking projects. Also the successful candidate will Draft periodic and regular reports, concept notes/project proposals covering counter-trafficking activities; prepare briefings, statistical/narrative reports and background information, including specific information requested by donors, national or local government, and other entities. She/He will have a Master’s degree in International Law, Development Studies, Political Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. Experience in the areas of counter-trafficking, protection of vulnerable migrants, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), or similar area and Experience in managing teams, mentoring and delivering trainings are required to apply for this position.
